With just a few exceptions, you could've told me you shot this in 1979 and I'd believe it! ;)

Good post, the only exceptions I would see are the Nite Ize S Biner, the chap stick, and the keychain flashlight. Other than those three items I definitely would have believed this to be a vintage edc picture.

That and the fact that wedge of cash would have been a years wages then

I always like to check this thread out, always something cool.

Now to my point, What is the rectangular brass item on the phone in the above pic?

Thanks.

This is the only thread I remain subscribed to on BF, always interesting.

Looks like a cigar cutter to me although I am not familiar with it. The watch looks to be a Citizen Titanium Sailhawk which is a neat watch.

Curious about that light. Looks like a Lumapower but what model? I'm still EDCing my IncenDio V3 which takes 1 RCR123.

Had a IncenDio once, it's a good light. The one in the picture looks to be a Lumapower LM21.

moshow9 is absolutely correct. It is the Lumapower EDC LM21. It's a single AAA-cell light with three modes (low, medium, high) and tops out around 80 lumens or so. It's not a bad light, really. I wanted an Olight i3s with a clicky tailcap, and this was the closest thing I could find (factoring size, modes, and lumens). I wish it was staged medium-low-high, rather than its l-m-h, but you can't have it all, I guess.

The rubber cap on the EDC series is pretty soft and I don't care for how far out it protrudes from the light. It hasn't been a problem thus far (several months of regular carry) but I do keep my flashlight in its own pocket, so there's nothing to scratch or tear the rubber boot. If it rode in the same pocket as one's keys, I might be concerned that it would become punctured or otherwise damaged over time. For the price, however, it's been reliable and I find it to be a good value overall.

The other flashlights that I carry at any given time include the Foursevens QTLC (single 123), Fenix PD20 (single 123), Xeon E03 (single AA), Olight T10/T15 (single 123 or AA, depending on which battery tube you choose), and Streamlight Microstream (single AAA).

Thanks. I've been a Fenix guy primarily since 2006 or so but my IncenDio has been my go to EDC since getting it a few years ago. I love the 4 level output and broader flood compared to my Fenixes. I wish Fenix or 4Sevens would come out with a higher output single RCR123 clicky with better flood. The GITD click yon the IncenDio is completely recessed for easy tail standing.
