Nothing fancy, but they always get the job done. And that's my dog Duke. Couldn't stay out of the picture

The blade's great, but the handle is too heavy... throws the balance off. Weird since there aren't any scales.

Yeah, I reckon. Handled the knife once, but at that time I wasn't looking for fixed blade.

Been carrying this set up for a couple weeks now, sometimes different blades of course.

New carry gun... Glock 43. Single stack 9mm been on my list for a while. Looked at all the popular ones and settled on the 43 due to already being used to shooting Glocks and just being a fan of their reliability and simplicity in general. Put some rubber Talon Grips on which are fantastic. They really are super nice. I have the granulate grips on my Glock 19 which are still holding up after 5 years. These rubber ones are perfect for the 43 and they go on so nice they really look like it is a factory job. I also got a Vickers Tactical +2 base plate on the magazine I carry with which brings the magazine to 8, leaving the gun 8+1 if you go fully loaded. Spare magazine just has the standard Glock finger floor plate.

It really is a great little pistol. Couple hundred rounds through it so far with different FMJ loads and my carry ammo which is Speer Gold Dot 115gr or 124gr. All functioned perfectly, no malfunctions at all. I was surprised by the accuracy of this thing too.... The gun is very very capable. For its size I find it to be very controllable. I also have a Glock 19 as I said and a Ruger LCP for carry. The 19 IWB or AIWB and the LCP always pocket carry. Wanted something to carry that would fill the gap between those two. Hence the single stack 9mm. Width is the biggest factor in comfort when carrying IWB in my opinion. I've been carrying the 43 in the pictured holster. Just a cheap kydex holster I got on Amazon with good reviews. There are a lot of different companies making a very similar molded holster like this for the 43. I believe the one I got is from Badger Concealment. It was intended to be a place holder until I got a better holster however this holster turned out to actually be pretty good. I can carry it either appendix IWB or on my hip at 4 o clock with easy. I've been going the appendix route lately for the most part as it makes drawing from a seated position much quicker and easier, like when driving. Retention is adjustable and the clip is decent. It's been pretty good and I have no complaints, especially since it's only $35. Well worth the money for sure if not more.

Plus the standard stuff... Watch, Protac 2L light, Large knife - ZT0562cf, Small knife - Spyderco Worker, and the SAK Tinker. Perfect setup in my opinion!
