I have two of those Thrym's, could never get them to flip open unless they had recently been opened manually. Have you had better luck?

If it hasn't Been opened in 2 months I may have to open it otherwise it flips open when you hit the latch

I recognize the 5-shooter, but I'm wondering why you only carry five in the reload strip. Yeah, I know, ... 5-shooter.

Does carrying less ammunition in the strip make it easier to manipulate during reloads?

In my experience, yes.
The 5th round is easier to drop in the cylinder without a 6th round in the way.
