... and this was technically yesterday's carry, since I didn't get a chance to post: another "I forgot which one" titanium pry tool, a Swiss Tool XC, and a Muji Aluminum Hex pen (extra good because it takes Energel refills), a button lock Begleiter, and that titanium lighter.

Still having fun exploring titanium combs. They fill the same sort of equipment slot as a pry tool or bottle opener. The thinness precludes hard prying and makes them a little less good for opening bottles, but they seem to cover like 90% of my normal EDC pry tool tasks. As with regular pry tools, the individual shape matters. For instance, this skull comb is fun but not as good as the one in my last post for removing small staples.

Picked up a SE when my son was born. Carried it til he was 18 and passed it to him.

Having a coin is legit. I carry $.50 pieces and/or an Ike on occasion, these days, with the advice, "keep this in your pocket and you'll never be broke."

Playing the old man card, HARD. About 50/50: kids intriqued or pleased/they look at you like you're a stupid old man. (Stupid 4 year olds. 🤣)

Fair enough all around i supposed.
