Very nice....how do you like your Krein regrind? What type of regrind did you go with? I've been comtemplating getting my sebbie reground as well but just havent pulled the trigger.

Tom put a 15K(degree) FFG on it.It's a great slicer & holds the edge well. The hardest stuff I cut with it is cardboard & hemp/nylon rope.

I say 15K(thousandths) because every time I talk to Tom on the phone & say "15 degrees" he corrects me & says it's really "15 thousandths".I don't get it really, but who am I to argue with one of the best knifemakers out there?!:o:D

Today, I've got my trusty BM31 clipped into my back pocket, and a really nice 4" toothpick, made by GEC, in 1095 and Italian-jigged plum bone.

I've been carrying this 4"-closed GEC whittler for about a week now. It's proving to be a very handy little pattern and the 1095 takes a great edge.

minimalist here: 585 mini-Barrage, keys, wallet. Some days I have my Lumapower M3 light in CR123A configuration with me

outside my pockets is a little different story: LG Versa cell phone, work pager, and a HS2000 pistol (ccw) in a Crossbreed SuperTuck Deluxe IWB holster.

Wow! Nice choice Rick! This is probably the nicest GEC I've seen. The shield, bone, bolsters and even the etching look very refined.
