Time for an update on my EDC.

Figured I'd make my first post here. I haven't thought very consciously about EDC until recently, so this list pretty much occurred naturally:

Right front pocket:
Spyderco Kiwi 3 Stag
Cheap MetroPCS cell phone

Left front pocket:
Keys with bottle-shaped bottle opener keychain
Bic lighter
8Gb Flashdrive

Right back pocket:
Saddleback Tobacco Medium Bifold Wallet

That s a Smith & Wesson SW380 Sigma, it’s a nice little pocket gun, the only problem I have whit it is that it’s a pain in the #$”%% to take apart for cleaning.:mad:
I think they no longer make it. I take it with me when I go out jogging. Iv probably put about 400 rounds trough it, no failures to fire yet, so all and all a nice gun.:thumbup:

Thanks for the info on Lynn Dowson, I am looking at some of her knives now, I have fallen in love with her mini Karambit.

I had a Sigma SW9F as a duty sidearm for a while and really enjoyed shooting it! Never got to play with the smaller one though. :thumbup:

Very cool!! What are the glowy things on your keys and are they tritium? and if you send me to the candlepower black hole i am going to cry.

Hi JB, the larger green Nite GlowRing on my keys is a tritium vial in a polycarbonate shell. Thanks for the link from ThisFlatEarth. I don't travel by plane with it because of the trit. I don't know if it would get confiscated by customs so don't bother to risk it.

The smaller GITD item is glow powder from Glow Inc mixed in clear gloss varnish in a polycarbonate tube (I think that's how it was made, I bought it made from a CPF member!) I guess you will have to go to CPF if you want one, unless you make it yourself. LOL

Hey Kindred, it's a great watch, I really like it a lot and it gets a lot of compliments and is the only watch I've been wearing since I got it last month. This black version of these "Neo aka Baby" Monsters is the only one that has the waffle dial.
My next purchase will likely be an original Black Monster.

Just joined BladeForums, figured I'd make my first post here.

My current EDC is as follows:

Blackberry Curve
Schrade Old Timer
Bic Lighter
Drawstring Leather pouch (containing my pipe, pipe tool, about a half oz. of tobacco, and a book of matches.)
handmade "biker style" chain wallet
and if I'm doing anything in the more "menacing" part of town, I carry a Schrade folding dirk in the shank of my 11" tall Justin cowboy boot.

yep, that about covers it.
 
NaturalMystic I've fallen for that Seiko. Fine looking watch, can I ask if the hand adjustment dial stands up to much use? My other seiko SS tend to grow wonky after a year or two.

Hey Kermit, I've only had it a few weeks but the hand adjustment dial (I assume you're referring to the crown) seems fine. It's not a screw down crown like the original Orange and Black Monsters. I read a bunch of reviews on these watches on the Seiko subforums at WatchUsSeek and WatchTalk forums before making the purchase and didn't really find any negative reviews from other owners. In fact most if not all of the owners of these love them.

I don't think these Baby Monsters were sold "officially" in the North American market so you'll probably have to get a grey market one. I got mine from Creation Watches but Long Island Watches in NY also sells them.

I've worn a Seiko SKX171 Diver on a Watchadoo bracelet for the last 4 years and love it. I just felt like changing it up a bit...
