The flashlight(Surefire Lx2) and radio(Yaesu VX-2) stay in the jacket most of the time.
How do you like the LX2? I've been thinking of getting one, but I have a 6PX tactical and can't convince myself there's enough difference.
I just picked the Proto up from the Post Office. Jake, it's awesome! Jake, Great job! I'll post more later! This thing is smooth and mean!

Its a great light. Has great throw. I really do like it. Simple operation too.
Its one of those lights that I always grab when something goes bump in the night, or even as noted to throw in the jacket.
Clip is great too.

The knives and flashlights usually change daily. Being its winter I like to always have a 2cell CR123 light on me as I can get away with carrying it in the jacket. If not the LX2 its Fenix PD30+. And if not the Lava well.... too long to list .
Just because it says it has 240lumens doesn't mean that it will put out 240 lumens. My old fenix L2D Q5 says it's 180lumens on max, but my old P90 incandescent rated to 105lumens is brighter in the ceiling bounce test. Tough is being testing by the 100,000 soldiers and marines that have been deployed in Iraq and Afghanistan, Tough is not being dropped and frozen a few times by a few guys on the internet.I've also got an LX2 and a cheaper Fenix Tk11 R2, the TK11 takes 18650's and has more lumens and 3 hours of runtime on high.
Surefire has improved with the 200 lumen models and the TIR lens is nice but it's still beaten by a light that's 4 times cheaper and just as tough.
