surprised some of you dont have a purse you carry so much stuff-
front left pocket has my keys
right front has money and clipped knife
right rear has wallet
thats it because - have A TOOL BAG to carry anything else-lol

May I please have the lowdown on your tool bag? Make, model, and any pics you care to grace us with. :)

Here's the EDC for my pockets, it's been a BM 42MC lately, a cell phone that seems to turn off by itself at random times, a Fossil wallet and keys.

This is the center console of my Chrysler, There's a Surefire C2 with T.I.D. and spare batteries that I carry clipped in my pocket at night and a BM TSEK. There's the belt/pocket clip for my cell phone that I really only use when I know I'm going to be doing some walking. Only thing missing is the Canon Powershot SD450 that I used to take the picture and the gasses that are on the car seat

And in my trunk is a set of Husky tools, CS Vaquero Grande and some paracord

ok I keep this exact line up for the moment.

right front pocket, has my Benchmade 551SBK DP Griptillian and nothing else for a smooth quickdraw of the knife (it will soon have SpyKer right next to it though)

Left front pocket has keys, jump drive, change, a case XX, and a cell phone

Back Right has my wallet

Back left is useless and I don't use it.

unless you're an LEO i still have no idea why you carry a gun to work

Your kidding,, right:rolleyes: I've carried many a gun nearly as many years as I have carried a knife/knives. Out in the country where I was raised everyone did. Now the law says I have to have a concealed firearms permit so I do. Its my God given right as an American.. Please read the Second Amendment to the Constitution of These United States of America for further information. Better yet go directly to: www.keepandbeararms.com .. or www.saf.org

Be Safe,

yes i can understand the need for a gun if you live out in the country or say utah or something. However, a lot of people here who work in office buildings downtown still deck themselves out like it's armageddon with 3 edc blades and a gun. Call me crazy but I doubt your computer is going to start attacking you. Just a little excessive don't you think.

It's not that he's planning to have an after coffee gun fight, it's because it is his right to carry if he chooses so :)

I must have missed the headlines about the epidemic of muggins and gang violence in rural Utah. :jerkit:

i'm not questioning the right, i'm questioning the practicality and necessity

I mean i could stroll to work with a pole axe, that doesn't mean it makes sense

Makes sense to whom??

ayzianboy,

What the hell is your point??. So let me get this straight,, because you, in your personal situation do not feel the need to carry a gun anywhere at all at anytime,, want to question others right too?? Sorry my brother but in my opinion, that is very dangerous thinking!

Surely a lot of what we carry we could do without, we don't always need a pen, or a knife, or a flashlight, or a watch, some things we carry because it makes us feel covered if there is an emergency, or because a situation may arise where there is a need.

In Mexico it is very hard to get a gun carry permit, so I don't carry a gun, but I wish I could, I know that bad guys do carry, I have been mugged twice.

I believe that this world would be a lot safer if everyone could carry a gun, I believe that there would be more crime in the USA if people could not or would not carry guns and that there would be less crime if more people carried, is there practicality and necessity ?, yes.

EDC for today: lightweight because I'm staying at home, Old Victorinox SAK (sorry I don't know the model name: three layers, file in middle layer, plus the usual tools with screwdriver in place of corkscrew, figure of an old car on the handles), Schrade 94OT stockman, Leatherman SideClip, Orient automatic watch, Hohner Golden Melody harmonica.

no you don't have it straight. I'm talking about those whom, in their personal situation obviously have no need for a gun, and yet carry around one anyways. Sure a Wal-Mart cashier has every right to carry a gun but I think it's going to be a bit hard to explain to your boss, the customers, and pretty much anyone why there's mr. Desert Eagle .50 peeking out next to the wal-mart smiley on your uniform.

I'm questioning the sensibility of a paralegal carrying 3 EDC knives and a glock to work. Sorry if that somehow offends your sense of freedom but it's a very valid logical question and you should calm down. If you bothered to read my earlier posts I said my question was directed towards those who obviously had no need for it on the job, like a paralegal, not those who wander around the woods or south compton, alright?

Lots of people getting shot in strange places in today's world... Walmart, Denny's, the Dr's office, Grocery store warehouses.. The 'crazies' carry guns downtown, in urban areas, in churches... makes sense to me to be prepared anywhere there are other human beings around. I choose to return fire, if able. There is no 'safe place' anymore in this society, only diligence and preparedness.
