I try to be a minimalist. Being a kayak angler, you tend to carry just essentials (fly box, rod, lanyard with tools) so as not to lose them in the water. I apply the same to my EDC.

With the exception of my truck key and house key which are not pictured, this is what I tend to carry.

- Benchmade 525 Mini Presidio in small Benchmade pouch
- small Nite Ize phone holster
- Motorola flip phone in holster
- Gerber CMG Ultra Infinity flashlight on side of holster
- Jimi wallet

Next month, I get to upgrade my phone so I will replace the bulky phone with a slimmer black Motorola Razr to complement the rest of my EDC items.

I had a samsonite wallet that had a plastic hinge,*but not the whole thing

I agree boobar..........the 640 Boguszewski mini spike is a great knife, but where the hell can you use it in public. I brought it out one time and the response was complete shock by all that viewed it.

Nice, i have a morpho also, but it is definitely not my EDC (as i'm in CA also). You sure u want to carry that thing around with the risk of being charged with a misdemeanor?

I really get some great ideas for new knives and gadgets from this thread, one of my favorites to be honest. Between your Hinderer and Morimotoms 458 Magnum Lightfoot.........they have me drooling. Cant decide. I found a used Lightfoot 458 on the Bay for $450(havent pulled the trigger yet), and I hear the wait for a Hinderer is crazy. I did hear that if you are Military,Fire or Police you go to the front of the line. Anyone have info on that?
