The striped one is a 1936 Parker Vacumatic. Here's the date code:

The blue one is a Shaeffer from the 1940s -- can't remember the model name. It has a cool conical nib:

I have a couple dozen more vintage pens at my office. Although I rotate them somewhat, I usually come back to the Parker 51s.
 
On the right hip a Kahr P9. Right pocket Emerson Commander. Right back pocket cell phone and skoal. Left hip 2 mags full of speer gold dots. Left pocket Spyderco small Manix and chapstick. Left back pocket wallet and TBI 120 lumen mini LED light with 6 functions and strobe.
 
My colleagues are currently buying up the old celluloid pens from the US now - which would not be made any more as much too time consuming.

My EDC is a Lamy CP1 matt black with gold/platinum nib - Described by a review as the "Anti Bling" pen. I had some amusement up in Asian boardrooms (where rolexs, watermans and mont blancs are mandatory even from middle managment) with very very high net worth individuals were visibly trying to work out the brand of my pen. They could see it was a "luxury" pen but not of the conspicuous bling they are used to - nogold, logos or signature brand pattern
 
Lately, my EDC consists of my wallet, house and car keys on a carabiner, an LG EnV phone, either a Vic Farmer or Tinker on rotation, and a blue Bullet space pen . Nothing special, and it gets me through the day.
 
I have a pretty diverse mix of knives that I carry on a daily basis.


One of these depending on dress of the day and what work I will be doing.



Everyday to work I have a Leatherman S4 and a Boker Subclaw. They are very handy for opening boxes, cutting tiewraps, etc. I also keep a Fenix L0D-CE and some Sliver Pickers on my keys.



Everyday, everywhere, a Byrd Meadowlark Rescue, clipped IWB under my cell phone. Strictly for emergency use, never used to cut anything.



Previously one of two custom Spyderco; a ZDP Delica reground flat by Tom Krein or a old PE Rescue, reground to a pointer wharncliffe by a previous owner. These days they have mostly been replaced with a Spyderco Tenacious (combo edge) and I recently picked up on a trade.



One of these Scibeer Victorinox customs, depending on what I am wearing and what I expect to be doing that day.



If I expect to be breaking down a lot of boxes or doing a lot of general cutting, I will add a Douk Douk or a Fallkniven U2 that I spent FOREVER convexing by hand. They all cut like crazy.



If I will be in dress clothes or expect to have to cut stuff in mixed company I will add one of these little guys.

Probably 90% of the cutting that I do is done by either the Subclaw, the red Alox Climber or Pokey-stick Solo.

Most days I will add in a Streamlight Stylus Pro for utility lighting around the office / computer room, and then switch to a Milky Custom Surefire L1 or Fenix P3D for something brighter at night.

haha that pretty much what i did to my scrapper 4 the first night i got my EP. I think it gives it some good character.

Knife = CRK Sebenza small classic w/Micarta Inlay
Comms = iPhone
watching = Omega seamaster GMT
storage = SwissMemory Laser 2GB
Back up = Boker Trance
 
Its the weekend and I am in jeans, so I still carry the daily Gerber Clutch multitool but have upsized to a Spyderco Native for the knife.
 
this is fun- what am i carrying- in jeans so:
front right pocket: razr phone, pack of tissues (always helpful), then in the little pocket is a leatherman micra and a little sak
front left pocket: keys including the little swisstech key thing and a maglite solataire on a victorinox chain, sharpie, guiness fountain pen (says wen ur tired hav a guiness), a Z4 + by bic pen, Burt's bees chap stick, tic tacs or some other mints
left back pocket: a little pad, little thing of advil, zippo lighter
right back pocket: wallet including swiss card lite, razor blade, really little like zip lock bag with 2 band aids, alchohol prep pad,little strip of duct tape, a little piece of paper about first aid
then depending on the day a maglite AA on belt, and a victorinox swiss tool spirit or a one hand trekker both in sheaths
looking for a watch :confused: any help- lookin at some nike watches and some timex
