Although I haven't done anything extreme to test it, it seems very bullet-proof. Not only is it stainless, but the walls are not what I'd call thin. There's plenty of steel protecting the innards. So, for example, I'm not at all concerned about sitting on it when it's in my back pocket.
Carrying your knife in a pouch just seems silly![]()

you're right... it "seems", but it "is" n't.
Besides the usual lint in my pockets, there's also salt, believe it or not, from stuffing my pockets with all kinds of salted nuts. Besides, I am the kind of person who likes to see his knives clean every time they get used--that's all.
