Hey everybody, this is what I've been carrying over the weekend and today. The "texas match" is new as of yesterday (saturday) and is my new favorite way to start a fire :D.

For my nightly stroll:

my wallet
Matte Black Bullet Space Pen w/ Clip
Keys with Vic Soldier
Benchmade Mini-grip
Fenix Light
and
Bottle Opening Ring

Light and simple for tonight. :]

I carry my small seb clipped to my jeans everyday but this knife is one I will frequently clip onto my shorts. Either the mini ritter pictured or the 707 would be my EDC if it weren't for the seb.

I agree wholeheartedly on the Benchmade 707 "Sequel"....... I love mine. Has been my EDC for the past 2yrs.

Oh yeah, the quality on that little thing is amazing. If you like the 707, you might really like the ritter. It has the exact same edge curvature but the grind is higher and its got that modified drop point.

The only thing I didn't like about it was that the griptilian handles had a super rough texture on the sides and tended to eat up my jeans pockets. All I did was sand paper the texture down a bit and it looks the same but it's a lot smoother and easily slides in and out of my jeans.

Some people don't want to pay that much for a zytel knife and I don't blame them. But after a while of use I feel it's one of the most practical folders I have and I'm glad I bought it.

I'm currently at school, so currently I'm lacking a carry knife...

Without a knife, I carry a SureFire E2D-LED Executive Defender in my coat pocket, a Kelly Worden "Travel Wrench," my Spec-0ps Brand THE Jr. Wallet (the greatest billfold ever), and a bullet-style Fisher space pen with a blue ink cartridge.

My Buck Hartsook that is usually on my keychain is in the door of my truck. :)

By the way, nice Subclaw and Baliyo Derek24!

Yep.... You have great taste... It was between the 707, the Ritter, and the Sebenza when I was in the market.... I chose the 707 because of the aluminum over the plastic and I honestly couldn't justify the Sebenza price tag. I'm very happy with it. It's just the right size for me and the blade shape is perfect......

On the street (of major US city):
* Keys, with white Photon Microlight 3 and a Victorinox Classic SD.
* Impact Kerambit / Travel Wrench - http://www.botachtactical.com/kelwordtlimk1.html - Alternately I will wear a Cold Steel Sharkie. Both are very low profile SD tools and easy to use.
* Boker Subclaw - Clipped to back of my pants under belt so I can get to it instead of reaching for my wallet.
* Sometimes an LED 2xAA Maglite (for SD at night, good kubotan/blinder, and LEGAL)
* Small USB micro-SD card reader with a lot of portable apps - http://portableapps.com/ - Hey, gotta have your virtual tools in order as well ;-)
* Oakley Monsterdogs, flat black with polarized lenses. Best sunglasses I ever had, also one of the only Oakleys that will fit my big skull.
* Oakley small trifold kevlar wallet.

Now I'm normally a Spyderco person, but the Subclaw looks too odd closed for people to immediately think "knife!", also it hides well under my belt. Plus I think of it as disposable, which I rarely do for my Spydies.

When traveling on an airplane, I leave pretty much everything but the Photon and Oakleys at home, but do add a Sony PSP for my entertainment :-) Once in the new location, I will use the lack of a knife as an excuse to my wife for immediately purchasing a new Spydie ;-)
