EDC - What's in Your Pocket(s)??

This thread must never die.

Endura
Underwater Kinetics 2AAA
cordura wallet
Nokia cell phone
keys in a leather belt loop and biner, car keys in pocket, no toys in key rings.
Used to have Fisher Bullet pen but lost it. Will get another one.

Pretty lame, but there's more stuff in the car, and it seems that I spend most of my time in the car. Even my Leatherman lives in the car now.

I live on a farm so I tend to have knives not only in the house but in the sheds around the place and in the vehicles. I also tend to leave them in the pockets of jackets and coats. Because it's very cold, windy and wet outside right now and I've just come in I find that I've got a number of knives on me, more than I really need.

Front right jeans pocket - swiss card
Front left jeans pocket - Spyderco Meerkat
Pouch on belt - Leatherman supertool
Top left jacket pocket - Spyderco Cricket
Bottom left jacket pocket - Spyderco Native

I really must do a rationalisation of my pockets one day!

Maybe when my new Sebenza arrives I'll only carry one knife around. Maybe pigs will fly one day too.

Just went back to see how much my EDC has changed... Keep it comin' everyone!

Pockets as of now:

Holy cow, I think we have a winner. That's a LOT of stuff. :eek: So how many flashlights, whistles, pliers and blades are you carrying in total?

Let's see. On my person I have the Princeton Tec Blast, CMG Infinity Ultra, Arc AAA, and Photon Freedom Micro. So that's four flashlights.

I'm very nearsighted and need all the light I can get. Bottle the sun and I'll carry that, too!

I have the Ultimate Survival Blast Whistle and tubular aluminum REI whistle. That's two whistles.

I have the pliers on my Wave. That's one pair of pliers.

Bladewise, I have my Wave, Victorinox Midnite MiniChamp II, Spyderco Cricket, and Spyderco Jester. That's four bladed tools.

Remember, my jacket, shoulder bag, office kit, and car are another story.

I am carrying more stuff than ever before. Shrug. I'm a gear nut. I admit it.

I told my wife that should I ever tumble into a body of water, I'll be the guy at the bottom rapidly shucking his jeans. No way I'll be surfacing carrying all this crap!

:D

Tie a long nylon cord to your jeans - so you can still surface without the jeans .....
but holding on to the line -
that way you can salvage all your gear when you're safely on the surface......

Beep! Beep! "Sir, could you please step over here..." SNAP! goes the rubber glove... :( :eek: ;)

Seriously, I go to district & superior court somewhat frequently throughout the work day... The guards are used to me checkin' stuff in and pretty nice about it all. :)

Today at least I was carrying a RoughRider med stockman with peacock smooth bone handle and on my key chain a Wenger Microlight Pocket Tool Chest.
My money clip was a Wenger Esquire Aluminum.......like that little piece.
It seems I tend to change the mix every few days or so.......
I keep looking at the Case Jade Seahorse Whittler in my display case and just wanting to put it in my pocket!

Kap :confused:

Let's see:

Beretta 84f loaded with 14 golden sabers (I no longer carry a spare magazine on me);
Bianchi Minimalist or Galco Fletch High Ride Holsters;
I always carry a small and a large folder
Small: Small Classic Sebenza
Large: BM806D2 or PE Millie or CE Chinook II or sometimes, The Aftermath ;) (just to scare people out)
Nokia 8910i
Victorinox MiniChamp witm my keys;
Palm Tungsten T3
Pelikan Toledo Fountain Pen;
Wallet with cards, $$$, docs and my gun permit;
CAr Keys;

But that's me...

"Lakeland" w/MOP scales by Knife House Hara, LM Micra and handcuff key on key ring and a Field and Stream Serengeti Illuminator (watch).

Celebrated my first Father's day, it was like mid-year Christmas! Changed my EDC for work to the Xikar Extreme, otherwise the rest of the gear still remains unchanged.

I think, I've found my weekend carry...in the Chinook II.

Did I mention Father's day is an awesome holiday.:)

Now that I'm back at work...
