I think they were aiming for the deep pocket carry deal that was getting popular for awhile. It's still preferred for some as far as I can tell from reading people's posts (not so much the Rukus clip, but the deep pocket carry). I think they shot themselves in the foot by trying to cut costs by leaving the clip so flimsy. I have a clip on one of my folders that allows the knife to ride low but it's still a solid clip. Then again, it is a $600+ folder.

Today I started carrying a Buck Nobleman Titanium. It has already opened a number of packages and boxes made of cardboard. Now there are scratches on coating on the blade, but I don't care. It is sharp and works fine.
 
I am carrying a GREAT combination!! I have my Silver EQ-2, with my PT, and Mike Alsdorf slippie.

Dudette TKC Im seriously starting to hate you. Living in new england, rocking the customs and the super high end folders =/

btw the yuna looks kind of thick, how does it carry?

Regarding the yuna... while the blade stock looks beefy, the handle looks very thin to me.

Regarding TKC... not a dude, more like dudette.
 
The EQ-2 carries wonderfully. It is a small knife, it is smaller than my PT. But it fits my hand.
