And you guys were right on with it being a Busse, however, its the Military overrun Active Duty (MAD) - though I do regularly switch off with my Game Warden :)

I think these are some of the best knives Busse offers. Some find the thickness to be overkill on these (a little over .19) but, I just love the utter bombproofness.

With that said, they would be utter perfection if they didn't have that useless choil...

I am with you!! I LOVE my Busse Game Warden, as it is one of my very favorite fixed blades. I love the small, but oh so usefull size. :thumbup::thumbup:

I dont usually carry over 2 knives but I just got the Atlantic. That thing is a cutter :D

That's a Pacific, not an Atlantic. ;)

Is that a 640 in the holster? What do you load it with? I have one full of Mag Safe Agent loads :)
 
Rob65, could you give us any history on that boyscout knife? I was given a similar one and have yet to fully discover its origins

Do you remember what model Schrade that is.....I bought one back in the 90s that I carried for years. I ended up breaking the plastic pocket clip and then the blade tip and then proceeded to lose it, I'd like to get another.

It's a 642Airweight and it's loaded with MagSafe Defenders:D

I am a Person: The scout knife is made by Ulster and was given to me by my brother who is no longer with us, so it has a special place in my heart. I believe it's from the mid 60's.

Why Magsafe defenders?

I strongly suggest you do some serious research regarding your defensive ammunition selection. A good JHP is a much better choice. Since this is blade forums I'll leave it at that.

BTW: My 642 has Gold Dots. :)
 
May sound almost self-congratulatory - but it's not meant to be -
I am amazed by this ginormous and long running thread - it is really interesting to see what people carry on a daily basis - being BladeForums it is not surprising to see many knives, but also flashlights and guns.....

Over at CPF (CandlePowerForums place for "Flashaholics" - flashlight enthusiasts) I also started this thread years ago - and it seems to have spawned a life of its own there too.
CPF limits the total number of posts in a thread - so it's been split now in two parts - being CPF obviously there is an emphasis on flashlights - but almost everyone there carry knives too -
