I carry a watch because my clipped knife is usually kind of in the way of getting to my phone, and grabbing the phone out of my left pocket is kind of awkwad. Phones can run out of power in as little as 8 hours. And it's so convienent to have there on your wrist, just one quick glance. Cell phones aren't allowed in my class for tests and some of my teachers don't have clocks. That's why I carry a watch, I also think they look cool.

@ mongomondo - how do you tell time when spending a day in the water or on an extended camping trip? Cell phones just don't cut it in many situations.
A good watch can be just as important as a good knife in a catastrophic/survival situation - ask any pilot or navigator and see what they say...

I take a watch when I go camping or to the beach. I don't do that stuff everyday so I like carrying the minimum possible day to day.
Right front pocket - Al Mar Nomad
Left Front - Sharpie, Pen
Belt - Leatherman Charge, Cell - LG Voyager, Keys on CRKT Guppie (lousy knife but i like the clip for hanging on my belt)
Right rear - wallet
Right cargo pocket - small headlamp (energizer, nothing fancy), lighter

It's a nice luxury to have. Like any other clothing accessory, just with more application. I sport my Stowa Flieger everyday, it's just a cool thing to have, like a nice knife.

Thank QK - its been a great edc and feels like it was made for my hand - getting ready to send it out to have a real nice convex edge put on it then it will be the bees knees
And you guys were right on with it being a Busse, however, its the Military overrun Active Duty (MAD) - though I do regularly switch off with my Game Warden
I think these are some of the best knives Busse offers. Some find the thickness to be overkill on these (a little over .19) but, I just love the utter bombproofness.
With that said, they would be utter perfection if they didn't have that useless choil...
I love the smell of Busse in the morning!!
