Right on both counts (I guess the three blade holes were a dead giveaway ;)). I removed the g10 handle scales, which slims down the grip considerably.

Mine's been sitting in a box for years, always liked it but it never carried comfortably. Think I'll give your mod a try. Cool! this'll be like getting a new knife today.;)

Here is what I carry on a normal basis.
Surefire 6P upgraded
Benchmade Vex
Glock 19 (Extra Mag not shown)

Nuthin' fancy, just a Winchester brand knife I got from Wal-Mart for about $15, pretty good little knife so far, and a $9 toothpick I got from the local pumpkin festival. I have more slip joints but they were my dad's and I suspect my grandfather's aswell, but I can't bring myself to carry them, just too afraid of loosing them.
I think I'm going to get another slipjoint this week when I get my pay check, and I want a new knife for Christmas, I'm thinkin' a Spyderco or Kershaw would be nice. :D

Thank you Rick! Great idea. Here's my new EDC for a while. This knife had been languishing in a drawer for years now resurected and very useful. Just never liked how it carried with the G10 scales, great now.

Thought it was a little small at first, but I'm really liking it now.

Glad it worked for you! Mine sat around unused too, for the same reason. Now it's a useful and productive member of the EDC society. Not a bad little knife once you get rid of the superfluous girth.

Nice kinves Charlie Mike! That is a good book too:thumbup:

The book is awesome. My wife is currently reading it. The knives are, from the top:

Darrel Ralph TG with an IKBS stamp on opposite side of the blade. My only safe queen

BM630. I have another that I double edged, tip upped, and waved.

Mission Knives MPF-Ti. My dedicated swimming knife.

That toothpick looks a lot like a laguiole because of the cross pattern on the handle.
