Ahhhh. Is it wrong that I don't actually own a pocket knife at this time? If it's any consolation, I'm working on building a fixed-blade and should have it ready by the end of the month.

Am I banned? :o

Not right away.

You have 48 hours to acquire a knife of some sorts starting now.

My Work Loadout, Starting at the top and going counterclockwise: Benchmade 950 Rift, Benchmade 556 Mini-Griptillian, Leather Mechanics Gloves, Kenneth Cole Automatic watch, Ipod Touch 64g, UE 700 IEMs, Green Laser Pointer, Stanley Pen Screwdriver, Chap Stick, Fisher Bullet pen, Sensa Space Pen, 48th Intelligence Squadron Coin (I am an infrastructure tech for an Intel Squadron, not an Analyst), Leatherman Charge AL, Surefire L4 Lumamax, some cheap LED Flashlight (very nice for being $20 bucks though), 1942 Remake Zippo, and of course, Jinx Horde Wallet.

Closeup of my watch, and my iPod touch 64g, with UE 700 IEMs, also shows laser pointer and Stanley pen screwdriver.

Benchmade 950 Rift, and Benchmade 556 Mini-Griptillian, sitting on top of my work gloves.

Off duty, I carry the watch, Sensa pen, Ipod Touch, UE 700s, Chap Stick, Horde Wallet, and the 556 Mini-Grip, with Leatherman Charge in my belt pouch if I got a belt.

I use the laser for pointing out items for projects. It is especially helpful when we are up in the ceiling or under the floor running fiber optic cable, you can use it to point out the path of a fiber to someone without needing them to climb the ladder or get under the floor, or you can use it to point to destination spots for people that are in the floor/ceiling already.

Its also useful for making straight lines for routes. All in all its extremely handy.

Just happy that my uniform has so many pockets, no way I could carry all this in normal street clothes.

Ahhh and nice 8,888th post :D

What's in my pockets - today. I'm working to keep quantity and weight to a minimum. Sage 1 likely to be replaced (for EDC use) by the slightly smaller/lighter Spyderco Cat or Dragonfly. Colt LW Commander alternates with Glock 23 and Glock 30. CRKT folder is redundant and not really needed when the larger knife is carried... so it stays home much of the time. Fenix LD01. Colt powered by 230 gr. Federal HST.

Ooops... forgot the cell! ;)

This is the daytime stuff. At night I often add a Quark 123. Spyderco Tenacious as well. More flashlights if night time outdoor activity is planned. Possibly a S&W 640 or 642 in the coat pocket as well.

Today I carried my wallet, keys, watch, and after I got out of the Academy I put my cold steel AK-47 in my pocket. Man I feel nekkid walking around all day without my knife :o

Phone and wallet are missing in the picture. Anyway, here it is:
- a Casio watch (model W-753)
- keyring with a Victorinox Classic and a USB stick
- a Fenix LD10 flashlight
- EKA Swede 88, great little knife made by EKA Knivar

Used this one today. Knifenut1013 sharpened it up for me to .5 micron. It slices like a laser. BG-42 stainless.
