EDC - What's in Your Pocket(s)??

The number is year it was produced. Numbered blades only officially appeared on the soldier model, as required by the Swiss Military contract. However surplus numbered blades were used the following year on models that have the same size blade like your pioneer, the farmer, electrician, ect. So your knife was actually made in 2008. These year stamped blades are hard to find and sought after by collectors. The silver alox soldier was discontinued in 2008. It is one of my favorite knives. Get another while they are cheap. Type in Victorinox alox soldier on ebay. The alox farmer is also great.

I'll propably get another one.. Weird really, because I ordered farmer at local jewelry shop and those showed up. I said it's fine, because that's the model I was after in the first place. :p
 
Besides my handkerchief, I have a PocketTool X Piranha in my coin pocket, Charles May FireAnT and Maratacc AA flashlight in my front right pocket and Vox Ti credit card holder in my left front pocket.

Front Right: Paracord Lanyard (10' King-Cobra stitch) hooked to belt loop with Pill FOB (2 x Tender Quick, 6 x Micro-Dice), Hot-Spark, P-38, Swiss-Tech multi tool, Sliver-Grabber Tweezer)
Back Right: Spec-Ops "The Wallet"
Back Left: Reading Glasses (sometimes)
Belt: Cell Phone (right), LM Wave (old) in Spec-Ops Super Sheath single

Am hoping to upgrade my EDC folder someday soon with either a BM Grip or the soon to be released ESEE Izula Folder... **SIGH** gotta wait on that.
 
Hey Ben , yes I made them sometime last year , the included G10 just didnt do it for me so I bought a sheet of G10 and went to work , took me a few hours for a few nights to finish them , only did it on one side though , left the other side neeked. :D Grip is better and I really dig how they look , one fellow forumite said they looked like Godzillas skin. :D

Yeah, I thought they were some kind of leather I think that would be pretty sweet.

Knife is clipped to belt
headphones on me
cell and wallet in my pockets
the small knife and flashlight are usually in the bag though.
