In the pockets today:

I've been carrying around an old Spyderco Navigator the last couple days, with a skeletonized almite handle. I've had this knife for years, and its a bit pocket worn, but still locks up solid and cuts like a lazer. You just can't beat Spyderco quality! :)

I know this is from a long time ago but I was creeping around this thread and saw this. Where did you get that wallet and how is it holding up?

The wallet was a gift I received in 2000 and it is in great shape still. I retired it just a couple of weeks ago because I received a new Wenger trifold...

It was outstanding as wallets go. I would still be using it today except when kids get you gifts.... you know.;)

Yeah I hear that they are damn near bullet proof. I am using a Wilsons moneyclip combo wallet. It's pretty neat. But the clip likes to open and drop my cash in my pocket or as i'm taking it out

Been a while since I updated this. This is my "at home" carry, since I'm not licensed to carry the gun in public yet. I'll have to upgrade the holster as well, it is very comftorable, but offers very little retention.

Chaps leather wallet
Blackberry Bold
Moleskine journal
Kershaw Leek
Kabar TDI
4GB PNY memory stick
Keys
Zebra pen
Wife's spare car key
BiC lighter
Dr. Grabow briar pipe
Camera case (make shift pipe and acces. holder)
Kel-Tec PF-9 in Uncle Mike's IWB holster
1 spare PF-9 magazine

I always said I'd never have an EDC rotation, I'd stick to one knife until I found something I liked better. And I did, for a long time. I carried a Buck 110 for years until I got to college and didn't like that much bulk on my hip while I was hiking across campus, so I started carrying an ATS-55, G-10 Kershaw Hawk. Then it was a few different Spydercos until I got a Benchmade 710 that I carried for three and a half years.

Now, somehow I have an EDC rotation... not sure how it happened, but I like it.

The Vic Soldier is the only constant. It's been in my pocket every time I've left the house since 2003 (I don't carry a knife when I'm at home).

Queen #31 - D2 steel and bird's eye maple. I love this knife and of the four it's been my most common carry knife for the past month or so.

Ka-Bar stockman - Not sure of the steel, most likely 1095, with stag scales. This knife is wicked sharp. I carried it today in fact.

Schrade 8OT - 1095. It belonged to my recently departed grandfather, so I carry it because it was his and because it's a fantastic knife.

Spyderco Paramilitary - S30V. This is the knife that replaced the BM710 and was intended to be my EDC for the next several years... until that Queen came into my life. I still love the Paramilitary and I don't see myself buying another one handed opener for a long time. I've always been a traditional knife person at heart, and my love of the traditionals has really taken over recently... hence the "rotation."

Every one of these knives is capable of some heavy duty cutting and I don't see any of them ever letting me down.

The Quark R5 has a green tint to the light? Was thinking about getting one, but if it has a green tint... :-\
