So you got it... Well what do ya think so far? I was impressed with the one have, hope yours works out well for years!!!:D:thumbup:

I'm loving the only problem I have with it is that one of the ID pockets has mesh instead of clear plastic and the white part on the outside is kinda yellow but that's not a big deal.

My EDC on a budget..

Hey Lachy, can I ask, how much use does your little slipjoint get? like I don't know what your school's policies are on knives, but mine/would think most don't allow them, especially with recent events. Oh and I had a similar wallet by billabong or something up until about a year ago when it was stolen.

I am in school here in Colorado. I'm at Colorado State University, and we just banned concealed carry firearms. While reading the articles on the ban and such they said "Knives under 3.5 inches can still be concealed." Which is the limit in my area, if not all of Colorado. I constantly carry my Endura 4 waved in my back right pocket with a reverse clip for a forward draw, random knife in my front right depending on day, and lately I've started to carry my karambit. Something in my just keeps nagging that I'm going to be needing it sooner or later.
In high school, I carried my Benchmade Benchmite 3100 auto in my watch pocket. Slim, under two inches, was an amazing companion in the art room. Few teachers knew, but they all trusted/loved me, so I was good.

Heres what I've been carrying at uni over the past week just gone - will post pics when i get home
Nokia 6220 Classic - pretty good phone, got it for halfprice
Regular Bic lighter - don't smoke, still handy, and for those that do smoke
Wallet - need to get a new one, not so "old manish"
BM 615 - got this a month or so ago, love it - this has only seen use once in the whole week, and I've actually found carrying it to be quite good, not too heavy at all.
Car keys - on/off depends if I drive or catch the train in
Even a vic classic would get you suspended, the rules are no carrying of any knives at school what so ever(in Aus).

Nice man. Pills & Knives at school :P

You know it :p

To be honest, it doesnt see a lot of use in school hours. And my schools policies are extremely strict on knives. It could end up in being expelled. But really, when I use it I make sure that there is no staff around or anything, and most of the "cool" teachers wouldnt even care being that its so small and doesnt have a sharp point. I just keep it for those basic cutting jobs that cant be done with scissors or something.

And yeah the wallet is pretty good, but a bit bulky if you ask me.

Thanks Guys!

Scotty... who did the work on your Operator? It is sweeet! I know its a very comfy shooter with all that front end weight goin' on. Do you CC it everyday? That's a little bit of a chunk of iron for EDC... but certainly quite do-able. I'm finding myself carrying all-steel 1911's less these days, but I sure love 'em! When I do carry a 1911, it's usually this one, a John Harrison Custom LW Commander. It "almost" carries like it isn't even there.

With my latest Benchmade EDC blade, 2.3 ounces of Osborne Axis luxury - this one DOES carry like it isn't even there.

here's mine for the past week and a half
well the knife that is, only been carrying the mini rukus for the week and a half, the bic for a while - the watch I got at christmas in 08, and the phone christmas 09

Casio PRG 70 - T - great watch, even though I rarely use all the functions, its just really good, nice titanium band
Benchmade Mini Rukus
Large bic lighter
Nokia 6220 - decent phone, got it for half price, so I'm not complaining

Also depending on whether or not I drive, I have a Victorinox Silver Alox Barleycorn - really handy for on my car keys I find

JCK... nice mini Rukus and that little Vic is sweet!

Thanks, the barleycorn has been really useful, had to slash some lifejackets, no one hada knife, but I had my car keys, with the vic attached, so the little blade came in realy handy, and was sharpenough to slash about 12 lifejackets, PFD type 1, basically everywhere, back, front, sides, insides, and only started to lose its edge after the 10th PFD.

I actually only carry the Operator 2-3 days a week. It is big and the Gunners turn my stomach into ground beef..lol
A Local Gunsmith here in Vegas did the work but he unfortunately passed away shortly after. :(

I usually just carry my OD Glock 27, a Keltec P 3AT and my NM GB.

P.S.--> Love your 1911

Yeah, and I'm really envious of your custom Springer! BTW, my usual EDC is a Glock 23. Closely followed by my much loved Glock 30 and, once in a while, the G26. I find the G23 very easy for EDC/concealment IWB at 5 o'clock... it's like a G19 on steroids! :D

This is what I had at school today (only reason I had the multi-tool is because my friend found it in his room and gave it to me at school this morning).

Wallet
Pen
Multi-tool

And this just arrived today, I will be keeping it in my wallet. Seems like it will come in handy, and only cost $7 AUD.
