Greetings all, a long time observer, first post...

Having given it some thought, I find that I'm pretty much a 'minimalist' , but depending on the occasion, my EDC varies somewhat...

At work I keep a Victorinox 'Electrician' in a pocket, along with the Inova Microlight on the keychain. A 12 year old Casio G-Shock get banged on something every day, but aside from batteries and a couple of bands, it's been totally reliable (gains about 10 seconds per month). Have thought about CountyComm's 'Mil-Shock' as a possible replacement.

On days off, it's a Vic Spartan with the added mini screwdriver. I wear glasses and it's been a lifesaver more than once. Purchased a plain-jane stainless Rolex Datejust from a Houston pawn shop years ago, and I found that if you ignore their 'luxury' connotation, it is a really solid machine that doesn't need to be babied. It runs down during the work week, so I don't know how its long-term accuracy is.

On camping trips, or housework days a Surefire 6P in belt pouch and Vic 'large' sheath holds an Explorer Plus and a CMG Ultra-G with CountyComm's Ti screw link to hold them together. Am thinking about getting custom scales made for the Explorer...

Travelling by air, the Explorer in the checked bag and Surefire G2 in a carryon.

Then there's the 'get home bag' always in the trunk with more stuff, and the new 'fatboy S' in khaki that I'll use as a purse, er, daypack...

Ah well... I'll play.

City-bag: Paperwork for both cars, ballpoint, AAA Maglite, keys for both cars, magnetic key for the parking, SAK, cellphone, and often a small plastic bottle of mineral water.

Left pocket: For the last week or so, a slightly upgraded (home-polishing, nothing special) BM 690. Right pocket: Wallet with credit card, bank withdrawal cards, various membership cards (a.o. Lancia Club, Natuurmonumenten (nature preservation organisation - we sure need them here in Holland)), usually around E100,- cash (some $130 at the current rate...), my home-broker's card (looking for a new home, indeed), some vague notes that should have been tossed away months ago which I'll do right now, and my bicycle's key (can't park at work - would cost me around $35 a day).

To have a peek at that Lancia; type my name in Google. The second link from top will get you there. It cost me a fortune by now and still doesn't get the girls... Wrong colour? ;-)

I just change my EDC, Leatherman Wave and SAK Trailmaster with a pocket clip sheath. As soon as I get to my home I am going to post a pic of my EDC.

I just got a Spyderco SS Cricket and rotated it into my pocket. It is a nice little knife that just seems to disappear in my pocket. I haven't decided if I like it better than my Spyderco Mouse yet.

Thought I might as well make my first post ever in the thread that brought me to the great site called BladeForums.

My EDC is as follows:

RF
Brushed Chrome Zippo
Kershaw Chive

LF
CASE Yellow Handled Slimline Barehead Trapper
Quikoin Coin Pouch

RR
Wallet

LR

Misc.
Keys with Mag-Lite Solitaire on carabiner clipped to belt loop.
Nokia 3560 in pouch on another carabiner clipped to another loop.
Ray-Ban Aviator Sunglasses

S&W 4566 .45 ACP or Beretta 92FS 9mm or S&W 649 .38 w/ Strider-Buck SB2 or Emerson CQC7 or Benchmade 750BT or Spydie Endura depending on rotaion.

You're one of the few I've seen who have a SW Tactical (Ihave one). Do you have a light? The streamlight M-5 fits, mine was about $160. Hogue wraparounds and Tritium glow in the darks are nice too...

I carry my Kershaw Blackout ST, usually in my left pocket, although occasionally inside the sleeve of my jacket if I have no pockets. I also carry my cell phone. Other than that I don't have anything that I consistently carry around.

Would you believe........................Yeah you would!! Newest folder to occupy my pocket is the tried and true, the venerable, the KFF as made by Pat Crawford. This is called the "Midnight Casper Tactical" folder. Pic is from KA.

My standard EDC is pretty limited:
Buck 183 crosslock in a belt sheath
CRKT Carson F4 on a neck sheath
SAK on my keychain

When I'm roughing it, I add a KaBar and a CRKT Hammond ABC.
