Back again..............!! Alternating between my DB Fraley XL Deluge and my new BM 630, both mega folders. For most jobs though I reach in my left pocket and pull out my Case large Gunstock. Large is a slight misnomer when compared with my other two!! :D :D

Today - a 2.5 inch Utica equal end made around 1925 or so is in my pocket. There is a Surefire L2 in my briefcase along with a Carson Damascus F4, Leatherman Wave and micra and an older Buck Wenger.

two days prior, a bm43.
yesterday, a mikov auto w/filework, modified grind.
today, Iisakki Järvenpää is my friend.
peace.

Never replied to this thread I think, but I'll give it a go I guess...

Carried daily:

Spyderco: Native II, Delica
Schrade: Senior Stockman (Uncle Henry)
Custom: James McGowan Nek 2, George Tichbourne Palm skinner, and Gene Ingram Pocket Bowie (1 of 1) or Gene's naked pocketknife.

Wallet, Rx bottle with pain killers, keys, photo ID wallet.

That's about it. Looking forward to adding a new Mike O. mini 2, and in the spring a Strider AR for the bedside table.

Sincerely,
Anthony

Unknown, do you realize that this was like one of your first 20 Thread/Posts, did ya ever think that 88,473 viewings and 888 replies later it would still be going strong?

Well.... there was a hint that it might be popular - because that subject/thread also elicited a lot of replies on rec.knives.

However I never imagined that it would now gander over 900 replies and 90,000 views.

I, and I'm sure many, return to look at this thread almost as a reference and repository of EDC's.

Many, many posts here have given me much food for thought.

Thanks to all those who have (and continue to) contributed to this thread.

I suspect no one here has an EDC regimen set in stone. Mine changes seasonally, at least, if not every other week when I try something.

My pocket EDC usually changes every month or so when I get an idea, sometimes from this very thread, and make an alteration. Sometimes it's a "Why didn't I think of that?" kind of thing. Sometimes it's a totally cool pocket tool I saw and had to have.

For instance, my wife and I were shopping at the mall for a birthday present and went into Brookstone. We bought what we needed and then browsed. I saw a SaberToothTools Pocket T-Driver screwdriver, something I've been wanting for months. I bought it. It now lives in my Roadwired Podzilla shoulder bag. Not quite a "pocket" tool, but I'm getting to that.

Then I spied a Swiss-Tech Micro-Pro XL. Kind of like a MicroPlus wedded to a Photon II Microlight. My wife saw me drooling over it and bought it for me. That tool now lives in my pocket. Very well made and kind of hefty.

The thread lives on.

I just bought one of those today, too! Browsing through Brookstone in Chicago, I saw this little gem and couldn't resist. I'm not sure how/where I'm going to include it into my current EDC:

Right Front:
- LM Juice KF4
- Mission Wallet with:
- Fisher Chrome Bullet Pen
- Peak AAA 3 LED
- BM 556
- Credit Card style magnifing glass
- Vic Bantom Alox handles
- Mini Super Knife
- Mini Bic
- Couple Band-Aids

Left Front:
- LM Crunch
- Vic (can't remember the name, basically an Explorer style also with wood saw, metal file, fish scaler, chisel, XS screwdriver)
- Key Chain with:
- Photon II White LED
- Fingernail Clipper
- Uncle Bill's Silver Gripper Tweezer
- Spy Capsule with Advil & Allergy Pills
- Whistle
- Small pouch with gloves, CPR mask

Back Right:
- Wallet with Cards and Cash

Shirt Pocket:
- Palm M500
- Small Notebook

Belt: Cell phone

I thought I´d bring this one back to the top to help keep the subject in this one thread.

Still carrying my rehandled Vic Tinker and a Schrade middleman.

Luis

Here we go:
RT Front: Old Imperial 2 blade folder. grandpa gave it to me many years ago.
LT Front: Business card holder with WAY too many cards in it.
Also small change and a bit of folding money :)
Keys on belt ring...
Right rear: Wallet, comb
Left rear: Mel Pardue designed-- Herbertz Black Widow- switchblade. Love this knife!

In the back of waistband...something that trumps all knives:
Bersa Thunder .380. Great conceal weapon loaded with a clip of full metal jacket.

Thanks for the thread!

Changed my EDC. Bought a CRK Shadow III for hiking and camping and liked it so much I started to EDC it. I am really enjoying it for EDC. Needless to say it has changed my entire EDC setup from what I had when I last posted. Take a look.......

Hahaha i knew someone would ask. Its one of those tiny little heatproof waterproof fobs that are sold at drug stores for heart patients to put their nitro pills in. I keep personal meds in there, like allergy and heartburn meds.

My EDC has finally gotten to the point where I really don't think it will change for a good long time, so here it is:

LF pocket: Benchmade 705BW, wilson leather wallet with a space pen inside

RF pocket: Spyderco PE SS Cricket with cocobolo scales shaped by myself, ASP key defender + carabiner + keys + brass Peak LED Solutions AAA 3 LED + spy capusule filled with Allegra

IWB Spyderco PE S30V Military, without a clip and a lanyard added this actually works very well.

Nothing in back pockets, don't like the pain that creates.
