I got a Buck 373 last week and it's been backing up my 110 ever since. .
Is the 373 one of the import models?
Today I am carrying a amber bone Case texas jack , Buck 422 from the early 80's and my constant companion my Victorinox Fieldmaster.

i try to pack light:

One of the following: Strider SnG/Buck-Mayo TNT/Buck-Strider 882 PE

To be honest, the most often used tool in my EDC is my Kleenex. I cannot recall how many times I saved myself and others from an embrassing situation by wiping away at the offending booger.

What, you don't use your knife for that, too?? ;)

OK, my turn...
  • Left Front Pocket: wallet, change
  • Right Front Pocket: Benchmade Mini Skirmish, clipped to pocket; keys (see below)
  • Watch Pocket: ancient old New York Cutlery Co. teardrop jack that I recently restored (doesn't stampede the sheeple like the Skirmish)
  • Belt, Left Side: LG L1400 cellphone on belt clip
  • Belt, Right Side: Leatherman Charge Ti in LM leather-and-elastic sheath, LM bit kit in rear sheath pocket, Peak Matterhorn AAA 3-LED light in front elastic pocket, Mini Sharpie in rear elastic pocket
  • Keychain (clipped to belt loop, hangs in Right Front pocket): keys, Victorinox Midnite Manager mini-SAK, tritium glow-ring, Bison whistle, LRI Photon Freedom LED light, elastic lanyard with clips; all on a small locking carabiner, with a small non-locking carabiner for clipping to my belt
  • Briefcase: Nuwai Quantum III LED light with 2xAA adapter (got a company-supplied box of Eveready Industrial AAs in my desk), spare AA, AAA and cellphone batteries, SwissCard Lite, Wenger Swiss Business Tool 60 (betcha never seen one of those!)

Wow, I carry more crap than I realized!

Oh believe me carimon I am. 4 years of dating and 21 years of marriage add up to 25 years, 1/2 of my life. I'm only making a bad joke when I posted what I did. The last 6 weeks have been the worst of my entire life, and I know everyone says it will get better, but the only way I see it getting better is if we are able to work things out and restore our marriage. I would not wish what I've been going through on my worst enemy. I do love my wife and am not ashamed to admit it, and will take all the prayers that anyone and everyone are willing to offer. There has not been one single day during this time that I have not broken down sometime during the day..................

Today

Emerson Karambit Combat model (left cargo front pocket)
Spyderco Endura (left front pocket)
Spyderco Police (right rear pocket)
Benchmade Balisong model 42 (belt holster next to G23 mag, right side)
Glock 23 w/Crimson Trace, one spare mag (IWB left side)
S&W 342pd w/Crimson Trace (right front pocket)
Glock 27 (left leg ankle holster)
* Costal flashlight left shirt pocket

Depending on my moods the Endura and Karambit swap locations.

The above is fairly constant other then on weekends when I change firearms for a Kimber Custom II with Crimson Trace.

* All my cover shirts have a special pocket sewn into them for my flashlight. This way I am not locked into one style of shirt.

do you own a bomb shelter as well

My main EDC-setup:

Leatherman Charge Ti (pocket clipped)
Peak Led Solutions AAA, 3 LED (key chain)
Omega Seamaster Professional

Besides the Charge Ti, I sometimes carry a Spyderco Delica.
It's the greatest small slicer IMHO. Unfortunately it is illegal here (in Denmark), so I can't bring it to work.

If I want to travel light, I replace the Leatherman Charge with a Leatherman Squirt P4. Very handy little tool, fits perfectly in any pocket...

The blade is more than 7cm (2,54 cm = 1 inch)

The blade can lock in open possition

It can be opened with one hand

...so pretty much everything is wrong - that's why I love it :D

....so wouldn't that make the the blade in the Leatherman Charge Ti that you do carry to work -
illegal?

Possibly not, it doesnt lock and cant be opened one handed. I believe the 1in rule is specifiy in refference with the lock. If it doesnt lock it probably isnt an issue with blade length.

Yes, actually it is just as illegal. But people seem to look at it more as a tool than a knife.
It is not because of the fact that the Spyderco is illegal that I don't bring it to work. It's because it is illegal, AND rather agressive looking, therefore drawing negative attention. So I think I'm pushing it a bit too much.
The Charge is more acceptable, passing as a tool.

Apart from that, several at my office has a "danish legal"-edition of the charge, with non-locking, two-hand-opening blade:

- so mine just blends in (allthough the owners envy my original/US edition :D ).

I hope the above makes sense - it's quite diffecult explaining the circumstances in a foreign language - in other words: Pardon my english...
