I don't even know what model Benchmade this is, have had it a long time and it is the smoothest knife I have and the one I always go back to. This is Benchmade when it had the Balisong stickers on it and the Benchmade name on the pocket clip. It is ATS 34 Stainless.

This is really an older AFCK: If the blade is 3 1/4 long it is BM Mini-AFCK 812 or if the blade is longer, the BM AFCK 802 . I have the BM Mini-AFCK 814 with the longer hole and I think it is one of the perfects knifes in the world :D

Hmmm, RF pocket my Spyderco Pro- grip, LF pocket i have a Dragonfly. Lowe alpine wallet, a TAG Heuer watch, Spyderfly in my jacket and my Surefire 6p. Really wish i could carry a gun... Would've been nice with a Glock 27 to top it all off :)

New knives on the block !!!

My EDC today:

Front right: BM525 Mini-Presidio
Front left: Surefire E2d

Rear right: BM630 Skirmish
Rear left: Spyderco Dyad

And the usual, Omega Seamaster Titanium, wallet, keys, Oakley Glasses, Nextel, Sony P910i and NO MORE FIREARM (can't carry them - legally - in Brazil anymore)

Half true.

Our S*** government is voting stupid laws banning the commerce of firearms.
Even before these laws, legally buy a gun was a very difficult tak here in Brazil: there were a lot of requirements, tests and burocracy. The authorities check your files for everything before they authorize you to buy a gun. The whole process takes more than 6 months, from the moment you pay for the gun in the store to the moment you can take it out with you (just to keep it home - to get a ccw it's another story). But that's what a honest citizen like you and me submit to do. The bad guys never do that. And what supplies the criminals is the black market - illegal guns that get to Brazil by our borders (yes, it's a very large country, with no border control) especially from Paraguay, Uruguay and Bolivia. Not to mention that our criminals like the good stuff (9mm, .45, AR-15 and so on) and for us, honest citizens, the most powerfull caliber allowed is the "mighty" .38 SPL.
So, blaming the guns for the crime is stupid, but they have the media in their hands, and this march against the commerce of legal guns is a way to show the people they (the polithics) are doing something against the crime, as if the legal guns (the guns legally bought by honest people) were the responsible for the high rate of crime in Brazil.
The criminals never bought firearmas in stores, neither register them within the authorities. And this laws applies only for the legal market. Unfortunately, bad guys don't respect the law.
So, what you might have seen or hear about Brazil is part of a plan to show the population that the guns are evil and the guns are responsible for the crime in Brazil.

Please, excuse my English. I could explain you better, give you more data and tell you a no-man's land this country is becoming, but this is not the right place for it.

From what you said: "everybody carries firearms !!"
I can just correct: everybody BUT THE HONEST PEOPLE carries firearms....

Sorry for the long post.

Your english is very good, better than many americans I know ;)

That is truly a shame, crazed anti gun whackos are everywhere, I guess. . .They must be wearing some really dark sunglasses if they cant see that criminals dont care about their laws- thats what makes them criminals, for God's Sake! There are similar morons pushing that agenda here, but at least we have the NRA.

Sorry to hear this about your country ..... but then I guess every nation is having the same problems - criminals win, honest decent people lose ..... :(

On a brighter note ..... I hear Brazil is full of the most stunningly beautiful women !! :D

Today, I have my new RG GB in right front pocket and my Buck/Mayo TNT in left front pocket. (I can not put down this TNT, it is awesome.) The GB carries very comfortably clipped in my jeans pocket.

It's been a while since I posted in this thread. My EDC remains pretty much the same, except for my knife. I now carry a Victorinox Cadet.
