Do you know if the Breakout falls under the category of full auto knife? I love the looks of it, but where I live it may or may not be legal to carry.

The Kershaw Breakout is an auto.

See Robert.B's post below for legality.

I would still proceed with caution, there can be city and county ordinances which can get you into hot water...he is best off printing the state code out and swing by the local PD or sheriffs office to confirm this (though sometimes they wont even know, but if they tell you its illegal even if it is legal you know the local cops will bust you for it).

Best to play it safe, even if the charge is only a misdemeanor it could effect your career or future choices...I like the lever lock autos because most police wont think a second thought on something that looks like an old slip joint.

zt 0350 in rrp, custom damacus blade DDR3-bl in the rfp. the 350 is heavy use, the DDR3 is the razerblade

Since this arrived today and I'm in the process of moving, I thought I'd give it a workout on some cardboard.

I have been in a minimalist mode lately and have been carrying this sweet SOG Twitch II. Its not spendy or fancy, and it doesn't have tiger stripes and a blood groove. But it is super lightweight (2.6 oz) and unobtrusive in the pocket, an assisted opener and does everything I need for EDC. And for me its aesthetically pleasing. I might drive everyone crazy from flicking it open all of the time.

With Victorinox Midnite Manager II.

spyderco tenacious--i've been carrying it daily since i got it. it's pretty much my ideal edc knife because it's well made and cheap enough not to worry about loosing it.

Here's my benchmade mini griptilian 556. It has been a sweet little EDC for a while. It takes a razor sharp edge..I split a hair the other day...a nice mirror edge!

There are a lot of expensive knives here, I am feeling a little envious :grumpy: here I am with 50 - 60 dollar knives feelng like king of the world

Don/t feel bad my friend. Most of my knives are not in the lofty price range which many others seem to be.

Benchmade Bedlam plain edge today but will probably swap it out for my Les George Rockeye a little later this evening.
