That's a knife that I designed and made. It's my Two Finger Wharnie. That one is still in my possession because it's the first one I made and is pretty rough around the edges. Here is pic of another one below that turned out better. I've also got a third, more refined version in the works right now. Thanks!

Wow, nice work!

Are you able to flick the blade open with the tip of your thumb? I saw a YouTube review of this knife (which I just acquired recently -- the LeafStorm), and he flicked it open very quickly with the tip of his thumb. I cannot do this with mine; the resistance is too much. I tried unscrewing the hex screws a bit but it did nothing. Any ideas? Thank you!

Yes I can. The Leafstorm has fairly strong blade retention, it takes a little practice and sometimes some wrist flick.

scorpion led is a sweet light and only costs $40 way cheaper than a surefire :) just buy a pack of batteries with it i was changing batteries once every 2 months when i worked midnights
+ 1 on the Scorpion. I keep one on my nightstand.

@Edwood7: Be safe man. You definitely have the balls to do be doing something that I cannot do myself, and I thank you.

You probably got asked this in the past, but have you ever drawn the tomahawk in an engagement? Just wondering how it performs.

Carried my SRM 710 and dropped it edge down on the concrete!!! ARGH! lol thank god for diamond hones...but it didn't help I was left with a dull knife for the rest of the day.

Is that a real finger on your keyring? Looks pretty interesting:P

It’s not a real finger,:o it’s a hard plastic finger made to look like the one the Native Americans traded back in the day. I made a few modifications to it, made a hole for a key ring and sharpened the point of the finger nail; I use it as a kubotan.

Posted this on another tread.

I have use my knife in defensive situation before. But recently I used my tomahawk in a life and death situation during a raid on a safe house in the southern part of the country. We wear tipped off about suspicions activities going on in a large house in a upper class neighborhood, the report said that several men whit military uniforms and riffles wear going in and out of the house during the night.

We set up near the house and got the go ahead to enter the house after we got some much needed back up by the Mexican military, once inside most of the almost 11 armed narcos gave themselves up whit out a struggle. We went ahead and cleared the entire house, when we heard one of our guys screaming over the radio for back up. One of the bad guys was hiding in one of the balconies and tried to wrestle the shotgun away from my team mate.

When I arrived to help out, I realized that my friend was struggling to pull out his hand gun from his leg holster, and I pull out my tomahawk and hit the bad guy in the shoulder (he was wearing body armor) the spike on my hawk went right trough the Kevlar and cut his shoulder badly, he immediately stopped fighting and had to be sent to the hospital for stitches. I would have shot him but felt that I might have hit my friend in the struggle. The bastard will live. My friend was alright, but a bit shaken from the whole ordeal. Turns out his leg holster was new and he hadn’t gotten used to it yet. Almost cost him his life. I took these pictures of the vest the idiot was wearing whit my cell phone.

P.S. I was aiming for his head.

So it performs quite well. :) That is amazing tho. I'm going to start saving up money for one of those. I'm glad it helped you and your partner out.

It was actually you that turned me onto those Magpul Dynamics DVDs, and like Travis and Chris always tell all their students.

(paraphrasing)" ... be familiar and efficient with your equipment. 'Oh, this strap's in the way? Let me move it.... ' Guess what, during a stressful engagement, it might cost you your life."

Thanks for the share!
