I still carry a SAK daily. My preference is the Adventurer model or the plain edge one handed Trekker. I carry a Trapper pattern hunting and a medium sized fixed blade.
The Spydie Endura finds its way into my pocket from time to time. I have several. I just find myself always reaching for the SAK. I don't really think in terms of a blade for self defense although if I have the Endura in my pocket, self defense is the rationale.
