I found this one in Chiapas, at the home of a very talented craftsmen, that knife has been with him for a long time, and after I helped him install a computer at his home, he gave me this knife ( it a appears that I have knife lover written on my face. I know nothing about it.

It's a TL-29 electricians knife, originally military issue and made by several manufacturers under government contract. I found three TL-29s while cleaning out an old USAF warehouse last fall, each one made by a different manufacturer. They are a bitch to sharpen.

yes it is a g17 and yes i did regrind it. i love the knife but hated the big chunk that was there. i really like this knife like this, the tip is still strong and the knnife is more useful to me this way.

That is awesome. I too hate the chunkyness of the blade on the zt0300 but love everything else about it.

Bought this in Pennsylvania, yesterday. I forgot to bring a knife on vacation, so I went in to an antique store with my son, and bought it. I didn't know Wenger made serrations like that.
