Not usually a tactical guy but I had to try it out after all the hood things I've heard about Les George. Great little knife with a CPM154 blade HTed by Bos.

Beautiful pair of knives and a great sheath. Very classy (and classic) look - thanks for posting the pic.

Ah, supernice!
Makes me wonder though, why you'd carry the slippie in sheath? Or just simply saving some space from pockets?

I originally got the sheath just to carry the city knife. I got to playing around with the sheath and realized a small slip joint fit well in the other pouch (it's really intended for a small flashlight). It's a real comfortable way for me carry them both in the same pocket. Especially when wearing the business casual stuff that is my workday uniform.

Ah, I see.
I have to get myself small fixed blade too some day to company a folder.

First time posting my EDC, my wife got me this Tuition about a week ago, hasn't left my pocket since, veff serration are killer.

Is there a general chat thread on bladeforum?
I don't want to make a thread, but I would like to talk.

I don't know what I will be doing with my future knife purchase.
I would like to have two knives, a EDC folder and a fixed blade monster.

The folder would need to be under $250. I was looking at Emerson or Benchmade. I like the look of the BM 940, although I've heard the Tanto style blade is not really practical. It looks cool, but does an 'OK' job cutting and slicing.

The fixed blade is a little harder decision, as it will be more expensive than the folder. My 'dream' would to get a Busse, but they are expensive.
I held a Chris Reeve Green Beret at the store and I loved it. Some online reviews of the knife said they've had better knives at that price point.

The 11" Busse's maybe too long for me. I think the CR Green Beret that I held was the 5.5" model, so I've never held anything longer. :(
Going to the knife store tomorrow to hold the 7" Green Beret, see how that feels.

I guess I'm confused about my buying because I am a beginner/noob. Too many select companies, and too many products :p

Edit: This seems like me:
I am new here and wonder how many buy for a collection type as opposed to utility. There is such a huge assortment and I am spending hours on this PC going over sellers and reading here. Looking at a Manix 2 and a BM 940. Great price difference. I can only afford one more and so many choices is driving me nuts:-)) I appreciate all your comments and patience. Just wanted to get it off my mind here. What do you base a decision on?

Having said that. I would like a
1) Survival knife
2) Tactical/Combat knife
3) Personal defense knife. (Same as number 2?)

I assume a $400 Busse would fit into all those catagories?
