Is that the Case Sodbuster Jr, Tom? That's a nice looking knife. Are both sides of that one unadorned and how's the quality on currently made Cases?

Thanks for the info, T. I can see that one fitting in for me as a second carry. I like that handle shape, the look of the pivot and pins, and the fact that it's plain both sides. Seems a good deal at thirty bucks.Hey Steve - yes, that is a Case sodbuster jr. Neither side has a shield, and the blade is only marked with a tang stamp. The knock against Case is generally that the stainless doesn't hold an edge well, but if you reduce the edge to 15 degrees per side and keep it a rough-ish edge, they actually do pretty well. (I don't sharpen any finer than the grey stones on a sharpmaker). I've never had issues with the fit and finish on a sodbuster, they are great work knives.

I don't think le tigre is going to go anywhere for a while. The ZT0350TS puts the fun in functional -- and puts a smile on my face every time I pocket it.
