Hi! Went running along the dirt roads just behind our house yesterday afternoon . It’s a beautiful October, still warm (22°C) and with amazingly clear blue skies . The fall colours are coming but at a slower pace, compared to the mountains woods. I enjoyed my 10 km run but also took the time to stop to watch the still busy bees, the planes contrails and... to take some shots to my pocket companion this week . Corn has been harvested and the ground freshly ploughed up again for the winter crops. Ciao!

Not quite, but kinda? I didn't like the original curve of the spine so I knocked that off with a grinder wheel.

I really don't like using jigs to sharpen anymore, but the recurve was a problem for my waterstones so I slapped a cheeky dremel choil in there and that allowed me to straighten the cutting edge out on the stones.

Came out great, if I may say! I also deassisted the knife and now I am a really huge fan of that knife. I've since been carrying it quite a lot!

I like the new profile of that blade.
