Thanks for following up, L_r. It looked kinda off-reddish to me in your pics, so maybe it's just the light. Or my old eyes.

I started searching through colors from a bunch of paracord vendors and picked something I though was close to yours (a red shade--definitely not brown). Maybe it'll turn out to be what yours looked like to me.
