EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

Hope this stuff is good.

Coffee twice, die once?

It's another fine day here on the Cape where, as they say, it only warms up enough in winter to rain, which it did torrentially two nights and days ago, was drizzly and crappy yesterday, kept at it overnight while turning into a light fine snow by morning, big wet snow later that stuck a little, got sunny for like 15 minutes, and now will drop below freezing overnight to give us icy roads come morning. Anyway, as so often lately, no fresh knife pics today so back into my Imgur files for some oldies from better days.

I carried my Biryukov Sigma today as I pulled the trigger last night on another of Andrey's knives that I've been ogling online for a couple of months. I've built up the PP account some with recent sales on the Exchange so I added a little to buy from the Spanish dealer that had the only one for sale out of the couple of that model I've seen "out of stock" elsewhere. I had a bit of back and forth emailing with them about VAT and shipping and they were kinda a**holes about it, but I threw caution to the wind and PP'd the $ over today. I've seen how things can go badly when you buy that knife you really want despite that uneasy feeling. Y'all keep your fingers crossed for me, K?

I'm hoping when I get another Biryukov it'll give me the stones to send this unicorn off to Chip for the embellishment I'd like to make the engraving really pop.

Dylan, could you tell me the model name of that Siegle? I checked his website but didn't see it.

Hey man, sorry I didn't get to this sooner. That particular blade is one of Bill's Puukko models. I swear that I saw some info regarding it on his Sub here but he might have cleared it our after one of his sales. As far as I know (and I could certainly be mistaken), he has a couple of different puukko designs and I scooped up both of them because they are just awesome knives.

Bill usually uses 5160 but I think he used 1095 on one or both of these. Super fine cutters and they just meld with your hand like nothing else.
