EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

Man, Friday already?

I've got one of those CRKT Razels (also the stubby version with ram's horn) I really like it even though it's a bit funny looking and heavy on the pocket.

I'm carrying old school today:

The razel is a weird knife but man it can chisel out wood like no other knife I own. And when it comes to hanging 2" wooden or faux wooden blinds it's a goto for me. For a one day carry I'll always just deal with it.

Yesterday’s pic, but today’s carry. Felt strange not having a knife in my pocket.

Can you send me some Measurements on that case? Me likely. I may not be able to do the zipper but I sure can do something similar with a strap and snap once everything slows down in a few weeks. That's a really smooth looks kit.

Thanks, just got it in yesterday. Holds the Mnandi perfectly, and compliments it nicely:D I won’t be able to take measurements until later, but it’s made for a standard A5 sized notebook.

Ya that helps. Does the pen holder come out? I.e. the panel that has the 4 pens in it removable? And it looks like crazy horse leather. I have a 4'×4' sheet of that here. Self healing. Works good on note books and pocket organizers.

I dragged an oldy but moldy out today. A vintage Spyderco collaboration knife, one of the earlier ones done with Frank Centofante, a serrated wharncliffe I got from long since gone, Blade Forum’s “OB”, our own Dave H. one of the earliest advocates of the pass around thread. He gave it to me to replace one I’d broke that Sal Glesser and Spyderco couldn’t replace because it was discontinued. (Sal did give me 2X the value in credit for what I paid for the original back in the day.)

I remember the original print ads, it showed the serrated blade cutting through a steak, silverware and the plate iirc If anyone has a copy of the original ad or a link to the picture used in the magazine ads in the back page of Blade I’d appreciate a copy or link.

Oddly enough this actually became my goin’ out for dinner knife, it was, (is) my favorite people friendly, non offensive goin’ out to Outback Steakhouse for dinner steak knife. ;).
