Very nice, I've admired his work for years. Who made the scales on the blue Bugout? Which do you like better?
I'm going back on forth on several different CF scale manufacturers for my backup Bugout.

The scales on the blue Bugout are made by Rogue Bladeworks. They have some nice contours that help minimize the boxy feel of the traditional handle shape and retains the lanyard hole if that is important to you. The finish on the CF is smooth.

While I like the feel of both handles, if push came to shove and I had to pick one it would be the Aramis Veyron Line CF for the Bugout. There are two reasons for that. First, I don’t use a lanyard on forders, so that is an extraneous feature to me. Second, I prefer the milled lines that add some grip texture while still making the CF look good.

Note: I believe the Aramis Veyron Classic CF has a smooth finish like the Rogue vs. the Veyron Line CF which has the milled texture.

There are a lot of nice custom aftermarket choices for the Bugout. There is something to suit everyone.
