Two family members today:

That black micarta be calling me. I see one in a left handed model in my future in a insingo for sure. Very nice indeed.

This one use to be an Insingo, but I had it rebladed like a month ago. I don’t like the Insingo blade at all, it seems pointless (pun). Chip has the old Insingo blade now:D Great knife, had this 21 for over 7 years.

Cool story, but what knife are you carrying today? I’m carrying my Sebenza.

Nice pic, BB. Perhaps your quoted poster is carrying that switchblade along with his WC Kimber. Maybe 6 days running if the pics are a clue.

I've got a large black Micarta 21 Insingo among my several CRKs, all of the others being drop-points, which I generally prefer. I like having the Insingo, though, which is one of my Chris Reeve work users and it will do a few job-related things a bit better, like paring towards the tip (think hinge mortise) or draw-cutting felt paper. Of course tasks like that are generally achieved with a usually available and more appropriate tool like a wood chisel or utility knife as a folder on the job site is more often used in a pinch or for sharpening pencils.

And yeah, the Micarta-inlayed 21 is indeed a great knife.
