Wow Zep! That’s an incredible pic

It’s my first one and loving it ! It’s got the T100 tritium tubes and it’s super bright and crystal clear. I really wasn’t expecting it to be so bright. Excuse my blurry picture it’s super clean and clear in person

I was never attracted to either of those two but did try a Rift for a bit when SMKW was all but giving them away, that knife seeming a bit like a junior Contego to me. I didn't much care for that one and sold it after very little use and carry.

I enjoy my full-size Crooked River too as I, like you, am a lover of larger knives. There are other BMK 4-inchers that do really float my boat, though, but they're old school blades (big fan of old school Benchmades here), like my 800 and 806 AFCKs and 805 TSEK.

Your post got me to carry one of my all-time favorite 4" knives, the McHenry and Williams 710--the first AXIS lock knife and my first Benchmade. I've owned 6, gifted two, and sold one. This one is my "rescue knife", bought used from an abusive owner and brought back lovingly over some years. Despite the fact that there remain slight vestiges of pitting and discoloration, its blade still shines with that luster particular to D2 after lots of polishing, oil quenching, and rubbing. It cost some steel over numerous restorative sharpenings, but it now has a wicked keen, reprofiled edge. The G10 has been de-munged, the blade re-centered, the action smoothed and freed, and the previously hacked-out backspacer has been replaced with barbell standoffs. This one's done a lot of work for me, bears the scratches to prove it, and is much loved.

I don't carry Benchmade's much anymore, but I think my user 710 may have yours beat in userness Chazzy. ;) Wonder if I can still get a re-blade from Benchmade or have I waited too long?
