I worked in the sheetmetal shop this morning, trying to figure out if a could make my own aluminum gutter outlets instead of the PVC pipe nipples I'd configured. Not having any good result with that, I walked uptown to the PO around mid-day carrying this beauty...

I appreciate it, my friend. I have recently gotten back into Traditionals, and discovered that the #86 is flat out my favorite model of GEC, and have pursued them...ah, aggressively. I have actually had several days recently where all I had with me was an #86 and no time did I ever feel underknifed. I love the micarta, and how it looks ready to work!!

How do you like the Rocky? I haven't handled one of the Ti Higos yet.

It's my first rockstead so all I can compare it to is my other higher end knives. Initial impression is it feels worth the money. The carbon fiber handles are beautiful and contoured. But this also makes it wider than I would prefer.

I don't carry Benchmade's much anymore, but I think my user 710 may have yours beat in userness Chazzy. Wonder if I can still get a re-blade from Benchmade or have I waited too long?

I had a twin just like that OM I regret selling it.

How do you like the void? I had that exact model on preorder and cancelled it, I still regret cancelling it. I cant tell if the handle is thick or not from the pics I've seen, the blade seems pretty decent bte
