I know, Hogue now makes them which I have been wondering what kinda quality knives are they?Definitely grab a Rat, and go with the D2. My HK is the Axis model, I post it on here from time to time. The HK is a great knife too, unfortunately they're discontinued. This knife was cheaper than a griptilian and built like a 710... mine is a hard user.

Nice knife! Mine was a black tanto blade that I blasted and reground. I’ve been looking for a drop point but they bring double the money they originally retailed for.I know, Hogue now makes them which I have been wondering what kinda quality knives are they?
I have an HK Auto Axis I bought my dad many years ago, wish I had a manual one. Heres a pic, not the greatest picture though, it’s been in a Safe and I need to Clean it up and adjust some things.
The H&K you have is the the one I want, I like the model with the black blade and I think it came in D2 instead of 154CM

Thanks, I wish I could redo a knife blade like that. Lately, trying different sharpening methods or tools and I just screw it up more. At least I’m re-practicing on cheap knives. Really need an Edge Pro lolNice knife! Mine was a black tanto blade that I blasted and reground. I’ve been looking for a drop point but they bring double the money they originally retailed for.

I know the H&K Manuals like you have go for a good bit, and knowing you just reground it, and gave it a great looking blade which looks like a CS Pro Lite Clip Point almost makes me want it more than the Original.
I just try to keep my H&K in good condition, like I said I bought it for my father because H&K made our favorite Pistol, and he is now gone. Also really liked the Snody Benchmade design.
I hate having a knife I can’t really carry because it’s too sentimental..
Very True, thanks for reminding me of that. Glad to know no one is Perfect or pretends to be when it comes to working on knives, especially the Blade..Thanks for the kind words, but as with most things I do there is much trial and error. And don’t be afraid to use that knife it’s built tough and will last you a lifetime and then some. The best knives are the ones you use everyday, and yours has memories to boot making it all that much more special.
How are you liking that blade? Been thinking of grabbing one...View attachment 955033 Knockout M390
I only carried it one day. The clip is fine, the blade seems quality and is really sharp out of the box. It the assisted part I will have to get use to! Well worth the cost - for sure!!How are you liking that blade? Been thinking of grabbing one...
