Good lookin out, 154cm is a decent steel in my book. for some reason I thought they used D2 or something.

I actually really like 154cm it’s on my Emerson’s and a Protech. Holds a edge well and a dream to sharpen. Takes a wicked edge even just on a leather strop block with some green compound if you don’t let it go to long before sharpening

You know you could upgrade the cage there’s a aftermarket option. Personally I don’t have a problem with the plastic cage. Don’t worry it will probably last longer then you and I put together lol.

Need to know where is this place looks like a great place to hike .

It's a place called Twin Falls, in North Bend (WA). It's a nice little hike, nothing too strenuous, but a good early season hike as you get back in condition. It's probably only about 4-5 miles or so out and back, not too steep and not high elevation, but steep enough in sections to let you know your on a hike and not just a walk. Most of those pictures taken near the water however were taken well off the main trail.
