Not sure why i feel like i wanted or needed to carry this beast of a XM-24 Skinny Slicer today but i did!![]()
@Knives&Lint, i can truly appreciate how many pictures it can take to get just the right one. At times we get lucky and get a great one on the first try, but that’s a rarity, at least for me. I also take bird pictures with a great camera and lens, and I may take 100-200 quick action photos plus plenty of stills, from a stop in motion of a Hummingbird up to a pair of Bald Eagles locking up and tumbling while they are mating. It takes longer to view, delete, and crop than it does to find and take the photos themselves. It’s something I truly enjoy though, and I have built up an outstanding collection of the very best. I even started taking close ups of just their eyeballs as each is as unique as a humans is, (that’s a tough picture to take). I’m just using an iPad to take the knife pictures for now, as there is so much equipment needed to set up to use the camera correctly. Once the weather warms up, I have a few ideas I will try out, so we shall see. Thanks brother! I do try, but I am always learning. It still takes me a bunch of shots to get those few that I am happy with. I'm not as good at capturing the details of knives, so instead I try to capture a story of how I am carrying my knives. On the days when I'm lucky, that's while enjoying beautiful scenery.
Love those Socom’s my friend, especially the OD color.
Thanks, now that you mention it...Nice shots !
Thought it was in a fish tank for a minute![]()
Just don’t go taking a header while trying to get that perfect shot, we would hate to lose you while you recover from a possible injury... That’s a real nice background worthy of a even better knife, an Emerson can make any background look more spectacular.Dis here one
First day out in the wild with my Tiger

Thanks, the quality seems to be quite high. I don’t dare take it apart. I have heard too many horror stories from those who did.Awesome knife sir!
Thanks brother it was a easy shot no harm no foul lol. Emerson’s are kind of like a old hot rod/ muscle car and I’ve also liked there pure and raw soul. But there isn’t anything like a Lamborghini or Ferrari either. Guess I must just love almost all knives lol.Just don’t go taking a header while trying to get that perfect shot, we would hate to lose you while you recover from a possible injury...
