Thanks brother! I do try, but I am always learning. It still takes me a bunch of shots to get those few that I am happy with. I'm not as good at capturing the details of knives, so instead I try to capture a story of how I am carrying my knives. On the days when I'm lucky, that's while enjoying beautiful scenery.
@Knives&Lint, i can truly appreciate how many pictures it can take to get just the right one. At times we get lucky and get a great one on the first try, but that’s a rarity, at least for me. I also take bird pictures with a great camera and lens, and I may take 100-200 quick action photos plus plenty of stills, from a stop in motion of a Hummingbird up to a pair of Bald Eagles locking up and tumbling while they are mating. It takes longer to view, delete, and crop than it does to find and take the photos themselves. It’s something I truly enjoy though, and I have built up an outstanding collection of the very best. I even started taking close ups of just their eyeballs as each is as unique as a humans is, (that’s a tough picture to take). I’m just using an iPad to take the knife pictures for now, as there is so much equipment needed to set up to use the camera correctly. Once the weather warms up, I have a few ideas I will try out, so we shall see.

Again, I truly do appreciate how much effort you put into your pictures, so that all of us can enjoy them, and I thank you for your time.

Just don’t go taking a header while trying to get that perfect shot, we would hate to lose you while you recover from a possible injury... That’s a real nice background worthy of a even better knife, an Emerson can make any background look more spectacular.

Thanks brother it was a easy shot no harm no foul lol. Emerson’s are kind of like a old hot rod/ muscle car and I’ve also liked there pure and raw soul. But there isn’t anything like a Lamborghini or Ferrari either. Guess I must just love almost all knives lol.

This was my first Griptilian that goes back almost 10 years, bought on my birthday in Vermont at a local supplier the first year we had our place up there. It's a very useful work knife and I carried it often the first couple years I had it, but lately not so much.

I had it on me for Micarta Monday but didn't snap any pics, so I took along with me to P-Town again today. I shot these outside after I got home while waiting for the grill to heat up. I just might carry it again tomorrow.
