EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

That Merlot Red really shows off the DLC Spartan Blade well, what a great color combination MT came up with when they started offering the Merlot. Just today I saw some Spartan blades with a double part serration on the bottom half. That is not a blade configuration I have seen before on a Spartan blade, it’s always just been a full Spartan blade and nothing else. I wonder if this perhaps is a limited run, or perhaps even a more rare run of the partial serrated Spartan blades. I know most of the more uncommon configurations will at times be more desirable, as so few are made, I guess time will tell. Either way though, IMO, MT made a really nice color combination when they added the Merlot to their lineup, and your Spartan UTX-85 is a real beauty, thanks for taking the time to add such a complementary background setting to your picture, it really enhances the overall quality of your photo.

Love that metallic blue set under the scales. My daughter says that’s a perfect example of a proper “thin blue line”, what class that knife has.

Thank you! I wasn't sure how I'd like the wood grain carbon fiber scales but I've grown to love the fusion of new-age tech with old school appearance.

What is this beautiful thing?

This is a Vespa OTF. The M-390 blade is 3 1/2” long. It has an unusual grind (hollow on the straight part of the blade but not the tip). The Carbon fiber inlays provide a good grip. The trigger is stiff just like my MicroTechs. The knife comes with a proprietary tool and some spare parts. I like the way the pocket clip is attached.

What a combo! I'm going to have to get one of those PSK's. I really enjoy all your variations with that awesome little fixed blade!

Many Thanks:thumbsup:
Recently I was bitten by the ‘small fixed blade’ bug (if that exists):), it’s very convenient to have a fixed blade in the EDC rotation. PSK Elmax and Lil Creek are great little fixed blades, my favourites:cool:
