It's got your name all over it...
I've never had a problem sharpening recurves. The Sharpmaker does a great job using the edges and the flats of the triangular rods are narrow enough that they do just fine refining/evening-out the edge--just the way you'd use that set-up for any knife. The EdgePro has become my go-to sharpener for everything but touch-ups so I bought a set of their narrow hones for recurves as I have a few and enjoy that blade grind as well as others. Those hones do a great job on both the belly and inside curve. I did a major reprofile on one of my 710 D2's and it came out just super.I'm far from the world's best sharpener and I've easily been able to put a razor sharp edge back on it quickly. With that said, I've never let it get duller than working sharp.
