How right you are brother, the memories come flooding back almost to the point of overload, but they’re all good memories so it’s surely a positive recollection. It’s amazing too that for such cheap hardware knives how well they really did hold up to all the usage they saw on a daily basis. The blade profiles are much smaller now due to years of sharpening, however they still lock up with a pretty solid click, with only the slightest of side to side wiggle, up and down is still solid enough. Pretty amazing if you ask me, considering all they went through.Nice! That’s awesome and isn’t cool when you pull out a knife or two you’ve carried years ago how it brings you back to the time when you carried it almost instantly at a glance.
Thanks for sharing Brother
That’s awesome my friend I’m glad they rekindled those great memories as my blast from the past knife collection does for me alsoHow right you are brother, the memories come flooding back almost to the point of overload, but they’re all good memories so it’s surely a positive recollection. Wouldn’t have traded all those memories for all the tea in Chinatown, no regrets whatsoever. Thank you for jogging back my memories last night my brother, they are still going strong today too.
That looks amazingly fresh, how I like the early cool weather mixed greens. We just planted ours this morning. But that Rhubarb, together with your 119, that’s the icing on the cake. Every late spring my Grandmother and Mom would have me go harvest the stalks and it soon became cooked into the most delicious Rhubarb coffee cake and Rhubarb sauce, just like cranberry sauce but sweeter. So nice it was perineal and neither insect nor animal would bother it. Thanks much for posting that picture buddy, what a memory you brought back for me today.![]()
That Buck 119... one of my sliciest longer blades. Crazy sharp right now. Pushed right through big handfuls of thin-leafed mixed greens.
Is that Spydercos new version of Benchmades grivory in a matching set ?
