EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

We spent most of the day doing outdoor spring chores, taking advantage of the nice weather after 3 days of storms. As another family member fell in love with my old Adamas 2750 last fall, I was hoping to use my new 2750 today and break it in some. In the end there just wasn’t anything I needed it for, everything was chainsaw, pole saw, loppers, lineman pliers, side cutters, and a come along. Hardest thing I cut with a knife today was the extra thick melted mozzarella cheese on our pizza. It was a good way to start the weekend, happy Friday everyone.

Thanks brother. Those are just my working knives, I enjoy the handful they provide me. I sure wish I could have carried any one of them back in the days on the route. One of these days I’ll have to post a picture of my old carry pieces side by side with these, they did get the job done though, just not quite as efficient as my newer carries could have done it. I really do appreciate your compliment, thank you, and you have a good weekend too.

How are you liking the Drunken? That and a Spydiechief have been on my Radar .
Most of the folks I talk to about it seem to dislike the drunken. I’m typically a contrarian though, so of course I dig it. The ergos are great for my hand, the action is very satisfying, and the milled wave pattern on both scales is very pleasant to my fingers. Despite having a steel liner nestled in the CF scale, it still comes in well under 4oz. (thanks to the internally milled Ti scale), so it carries easily, and the clip, while angular and a little pokey, is not nearly as atrocious as some would lead you to believe. I’m also a big fan of the chef platform, and feel like it delivers a much better ‘bang for the buck’, offering about the same blade shape & level of utility for almost half the bread. You can’t lose with either of them IMO, but you definitely don’t need both.. says the dummy who has both ;)
Hope you have a great weekend over there

Thanks for the insight and break down:thumbsup:
I’m leaning towards the Spydie Chief something about it attracts me. I thought it was ugly at first look and then suddenly out of nowhere I think it looks good now lol.
The Drunken I’ve always liked the looks though.

The bottom Frontier I carried for about the first 15 years. The Camillus Lev-R-Loc in the middle was originally a non-serrated, but I lost that first one on a hunting trip, the one pictured (it’s replacement) was around the last 10 years. The Socom is just for size comparison.

Nice! That’s awesome and isn’t cool when you pull out a knife or two you’ve carried years ago how it brings you back to the time when you carried it almost instantly at a glance.
Thanks for sharing Brother
