Nice throwback there out of interest are you from the UK, just wanna know if anyone outside the UK knew that we used to make great knives back in the day!

I'm in the good ol' U.S. of A. They did turn out some amazing knives in Sheffield, sad that they are a very rare find now.

Ah great to hear the name got outside the UK then, yeah Sheffield was the main place, great Bowie knives too! Wish we were bigger in the knife game now!

For Throwback Thursday I went back to my gateway Benchmade. My first BMK was appropriately the first AXIS lock knife and it's still one of my all-time favorites.

We worked a short day to finish up the drainage piping for the scuppers so I got home just after lunch--in time to tie up a lanyard and switch to my gorgeous new Rainmaker which got its first real pocket time and made its first cut today. Aside from all its many other attributes it came wicked sharp out of the box with one of the scariest, pointy, perfect tips I've ever seen.

Quiet , don't forget to carry your Rainmaker tomorrow out of camaraderie as you'd mentioned. I'll be pocketing mine as it won't be a work day for me and am looking forward to seeing one of yours.

I have had some green G-10 scales on my M390 Ritter Grip for a while now. I just wasn't crazy about them so I ordered some Flytanium carbon fiber scales. Very nice but I was having a hell of a time getting the knife put back together until I read the instructions.
