EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

Throwback Thursday has me carrying my BMK TSEK. I got this from a friend here a few years back when I was building the Benchmade wing of my collection as I really enjoy a number of their classic, old school designs. He was not the first owner and one previous had made a few mods to it, very neatly extending the liner jimping through the the G10 scales as well as adding a bit of hollow to the primary grind. He'd never finish going through all the grits and the blade still shows fine longitudinal sanding marks. It doesn't really bother me as I have a few very appealing blades that come like that from the factory and the TSEK's is still glossy enough that it's almost impossible not to show one's reflection in it when photographing.

The blade's "just" 440C, but came to me and is still one of the scary-sharpest I have.

Mail call. Jurassic in battle bronze. I've got some micarta in the mail for it as we speak. I think I'm going to have to track down some bronze hardware but so far I can't find any Jurassic (or Eclipse) scale screws in stock. Anyhow, first impressions leave me pleased.

Quite the selection of Weber outdoor cookery tools. Is that a "smoky joe" under wraps in front there? Such a versatile tool?

Thanks, and yes. Smokey Mountain for long cooks, Genesis (natural gas) for weeknight quick cooks, and the Performer for most everything else. I may just be a little bit of a Weber fanboy :D

Cold Steel large Espada: more practical for EDC tasks than you might think, and surprisingly easy - and fun - to carry. Note how I smoothed out the G10 under the clip to reduce pocket shredding. Its even more important to do this with the plastic-handled models like the Voyager lineup.
