I loafed around this morning before my early afternoon business meeting, so I pocketed my Rainmaker as it had become a light-carry instead of a work-user day. I left the meeting with a nice fat check, stopped by the bank to deposit, and figured I'd kill the rest of the afternoon in the grocery store with all the other masked shoppers. I'd used my knife to open the payment envelope in the car and had inadvertently left it on the console when I headed in to the store. When I casually brushed my pocket and noticed its absence it took me zero thought nor time to leave my cart where it stood and head outside to retrieve my beauty.
