Tried out the new Siren and I’m actually liking it's full size, it’s a really nice knife.

Great picture my Friend ! I’ve had my sights on the Siren and actual bought one over the weekend from a dealer I thought had it in stock and didn’t read the small print lol.
It let me put one in my cart and pay for it. Then realized it wouldn’t ship for 10 to 19 days  So I canceled my purchase. I’ll just wait to the main stream dealers start getting them again. Congrats on yours it looks to be a great knife with some awesome corrosion resistant Blade steel and should hold a nice edge.
Adorable puppy btw !

Yes, just a bit. I believe around 18 or 19 degrees per side if memory serves. Those Inkosi Insingos are so thin behind the edge that very little steel needs to be removed to get that slightly slimmer, super slicey geometry.
I thought it looked a little broader than stock and the blade looks like one helluva slicing machine. I took my KA large 21 to a similar edge several years ago and it didn't hold up as a work knife, as the edge would indent under pressure. That blade pre-dated the CRK hardness increase and seemed individually soft, specified RC being a range. I worked it back to 20 DPS over a few sharpenings and it remains a frequent and favorite work user.

Still, that's a beautiful edge on this much newer Inkosi and I look forward to using it and seeing how it performs and holds up.

Thanks brother. I can’t take credit for the pup as I was only babysitting him, but I do take credit for the photo and knives. He is cute for sure, and a smart one too.

My dealer got the Siren in and had it listed the same day and I just happened to be at the right place at the right time, as he only had this one, no others. The overall shape and blue liners sold me as did the anti corrosion factor. I had never even heard or saw of a Siren before that day. So I took the chance and got it and now I’m glad I did.

This is the first Spyder I bought that wasn’t an auto, as I didn’t think I could open it just by using the Spyderco hole due to my busted up hand. But after a week of getting used to it at first I am able to do it pretty easily with either hand now, haha. I really like the wire clip on it too, it sure does carry nicely, definitely lighter weight than my regular Socom.

All and all I’m pleased with the pup and the Siren. When you get yours I’m sure you are going to be pleased as well.

I think you picked a winner no doubt. I love the blue and black also and just looks like a great knife . Actually watched Sal cut him self with one during a YouTube video when he was closing it  So be careful !
I really like the wire clip to
Looking forward to getting one hopefully sooner then later lol.

Yeah, I’ve never had a problem with any of the newer CRKs at low angles. I’ve even taken some insigos to 15 degrees per side without incident. Well, other than accidentally cutting myself with it several times, lol.

Sitting outside, had a cicada crawl out of its shell right on the table beside us. Then it had to chill for a while til the wings were flight worthy. Freaky cool little alien noise maker!

Better get used to it - the numbers they are predicting this year are simply astounding!
